How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6021886 / WPW10467289 Washer Water Temperature Sensor

Replaced tempature sensor and gasket. 

Got replacement parts from you and followed the video on your web site to complete the repairs 

It went very well after we realized the sensor on our Washer was in the back instead of the front. 

I removed the old water temperature sensor and seal. Then I installed the new water temperature seal and sensor from Appliancepartspros.com. Now, I have no more error code on my Whirlpool Duet washer and it was a very easy install. 

Replaced the heating element and the Thermistor. 

Resoder wires and replaced temp sensor. We're clean again. 

Ordered this part and followed the provided video. 

I ordered received and installed temp probe and now washer is working again. 

Removed corroded Water Temperature Sensor and installed a new one. The washer still would stop and give an error code of F05. Found that there was a loose wire to the connector, that connected to the Water Temperature Sensor. When the washer was previously serviced, the wire was not properly secured, which caused the wire to come loose with time. After I fixed the loose wire problem, the washer worked. The work was completed a month ago. No more problems. 

I found your website when self diagnosing my washing machine. I ordered the parts Thursday and received them Friday. I installed them while watching your videos on my phone that Friday afternoon and my washing machine is back in business. I washed 4 kitchen rugs and never heard the loud banging noise during the spin cycle. I am a woman, and if I can fix a washing machine, any man could!
