My sensor unscrews with two special machine screws from inside the oven. I have bad shoulders and couldn't grasp it without removing the door. Door removal was relatively easy except Whirlpool has three ways for different ovens and you have to find the correct method. I looked at the video associated with the part. I ordered the part. It was a VERY easy repair. I removed the old sensor, and installed the new part. I ran a check using an oven thermometer.
