How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6006118 / WP2194719 Dispenser Lever Retainer

With the help of the fantastic videos provided on the web site for each replacement part, it was extremely easy to complete the repair 

Your videos showing disassembly were invaluable. New parts fit perfect. Took awhile to clean surrounding parts before reinstalling new parts... but now 10 year old fridge looks like new! 

Looked up the model number and the problem. Went to Appliance Pros, found parts and watched the video. Ordered the parts watched the video again and fixed the problem, Ice dispensing lever works like brand new refrigerator. This is the third time I've fixed my appliances with the help of Appliance Parts Pro. The only place I go to anymore. 

Replaced level and lever retainer. Arm now responds. 

Identified the problem and went to the parts breakdown for my fridge on the website of Appliance Parts Pros. Ordered the required parts and I received them in two days, installed them and now everyone is happy. 

Ordered the parts and a couple I wasn't sure I needed. These fixed the problem and the ice maker is working great. 

Replaced the dispenser lever retainer which was broken, dispenser arm strain relief and control bracket which had broken pins. 

The kitchenaid/whirlpool ice door repair kit replaced the17 year old, now hardened foam ice door seal and related components. It now seals properly for the first time ever, and operates like new. After 3 views of the video, I felt capable to attack the task. Thanks APPros! 

I watched the videos and made the repairs in a little over 5 minutes! It was great and if I ever need parts again I was use this site. I have told everybody about this site.
