How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011217 / WP74010824 Large Element Switch

Replace the element switch with a new one. 

It was simple. A few screws. Took the time to write this review because the live chat support was so amazing that it surprised me. Incredibly helpful and got me the right part. Next time I have an appliance problem, I will not go to google, I'll come right to this site and chat with live support. ?? 

Turned off the power to the range and pulled off control panel with 5 screws. Took out two more screws to remove switch. Pulled off connections to old switch and replaced with new switch to the connectors. screwed switch to panel and replaced the panel. Total project took about 10 minutes. 

Received new part within two days of order. Very easy repair. It took about twenty minuets to replace switch. Your repair video was very helpful. This is my second time to order from your web site. 

Part arrived in day and half. I ask for help from applianceparts Pro's. They sent me a Manuel for my cook top which had step by step instructions on how to replace switch. All I needed was a screwdriver and switch was replaced in fifteen minutes.
