How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6007668 / WP3149404 Infinite Switch Top Burner Control Switch

Super easy. I am NOT handy with tools. I just used a Philips screwdriver. Unscrew the back stove panel and set it aside. Remove the old switches and replaced them with new ones. Replaced the back panel and done. 

Called AppliancePartsPros.com with the range model number and ordered a new infinite switch which arrived in a few days. Installed the new switch and it worked great. 

It was a perfect fit with the exception that I had to make it shorter by snapping a piece off the switch shift. Very easy install. Took maybe 10 min from the time of taking out the old part and installing a new one. And I didn't need to use the female connector that's included in the parts package. I especially love the live chat. They are easy to talk to and respond to quickly. 

Wife fixed it, 1 2 3 done. 

Replaced switch. 

Ordered, received, and installed new Surface element infinite control switches, one low and one high power (2 different size surface elements were not performing properly during cooking). Had to move stove out from wall, unplug the power cord (very important!), remove thin metal cover on back of stove to access the controls. Remove and replace the Infinite control switches, one at a time, paying attention to the wiring pattern. Install the sheet steel cover on back of stove. Plug power cord in, operate the switches, good to go. Slide stove back in place. Parts ordered were a perfect fit and type.

After talking to your guy on the phone it didn't seem to be to complicated so I ordered the part, received it in three days. It worked out just like he told me, easy to do, very happy it worked out well!!
