Diane R Sheridan , AR November 13, 2015 Starter button & door switch At first I thought the problem was only with the starter button. When I removed the old button switch I could see that it was worn & there were carbon deposits inside the clear plastic case. That part arrived quickly (with just standard shipping)...and it still wouldn't start. Then I started really 'trouble shooting'....with the help of appliancepartspros' online tools. I checked fuse (it was fine) and then I looked closer at the door switch. The lever to the switch was bent! Once again, with just standard shipping, I had my part quickly. The instructions that came with both parts were easily understood, and installation was quick & smooth! From start to finish, my dryer was out of commission less than a week....and I was able to do all the work myself with the help of the repair videos! James G North Fort Myers , FL April 19, 2015 Appliance: Model LT7000XTWO Fail to start the dryer Determined that the door switch to the dryer was still good by closing the door and prssing the START BUTTON and it made a sound. Open the door, no sound, hence, no power and thus opposite then is true. So it is the START SWITCH that failed. Looking at the diagram and the advice from your CHAT, three scews at the top of the machine and the front control panel falls forward. Snap out the out, unplug it and reverse the process with the new and WHALA! Oscar W Yorba Linda , CA July 19, 2021 Appliance: Model SEARS KENMORE ADVANTAGE MODEL# 87863100 78631 My dryer would not start!! My clothes dryer is a very old Kenmore! I looked at a few Videos online to see what might be the problem. Since the dryer would not turn on, I removed the push to start switch, and visually inspected it! I could clearly see through the clear plastic that the switch was burned out! I then looked online and ordered the replacement switch from appliancepartspros.com and watched the video on how to install the newly designed one! Everything worked out great and my dryer starts right up! Thank you so much Appliance Parts Pros! Read More... Robert J Nacogdoches , TX January 12, 2019 No heat dryer tumbled but no hot air Replaced high-temp thermostat. Older dryer so I replaced both thermostats and the heating element, the push-to-start switch and the door latch. New thermostat had spade connector so I had to replace one wire end. I could not find specific information about the temperature setting for the cycling thermostat so I went with the “out of the bag setting” which is working OK. Read More...
