How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6802668 / W11291138 Refrigerator Door Light Switch

Watched appliance parts pros video. Ordered part and fixed it. 

Replaced the LIGHTSWITCH. Pried the old one out with a butter knife as seen on a youtube video. Took less than a minute. 

AFTER WATCHING YOUR VIDEO TUTORIAL, IT WAS VERY EASY TO REPLACE THE BAD SWITCH WITH THE NEW SWITCH. 

This was less than a $20 part that arrived in only a couple of days. If I had called a repair person it would have been at least a $79 service call, then order the part then pay for them to come back and install it in less than 5 minutes. I called into customer service because there were 4-6 parts that looked right but couldn't tell which one from the photos they helped me determine the right part. I watched the video on how to remove the part unplugged the old plugged in the new and wallah!! Lights and digital display back working without having to rearrange my schedule for a repair person and saved money! Love this site!! 

Pulled the old one out first, then went to AppliancePartsPros.Com and found the part at a great price I must say, and ordered it. It was suppose to take 5 to 7 days but I got it in 3. Great job folks. Put the new part in and it works like a charm. Thanks for being there.
