How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014441 / WP99002560 Water Level Switch (Float)

Replaced water level control switch 

I first installed the inlet pump with no results. I then ordered a Control Switch and Float and Nut. This fixed the problem. Everything comes out so clean. I also replaced the filter which allowed me to clean debris around old filter. It is also easier to replace all these parts with the dishwasher pulled out and tilted on its side. I had to pull mine out to unplug power to the dishwasher. 

REPLACE THE WATER POWER SWITCH 

Purchased a new float and float control switch. Fixed the problem and no more leaking from under the dishwasher. 

Replace switch.
