How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5985206 / W10820051 Water Level Pressure Switch (Washer)

I changed the water level pressure switch. 

I was able to trace the problem to a sticking diaphragm in the water level switch. Using a small piece of aquarium air tubing I could loosen it with a small puff of air and the washer would run for awhile. I replaced the switch unit and will test the repair on laundry day (tomorrow), but do not anticipate further problems. 

I bought a new water level switch from Appliance Parts Pros and watch a video on U-Tube on how to fix it. The repair only took 10 minutes to complete. 

Replaced pressure switch. 

Replaced the pressure switch. 

Replaced the water level selector control switch and tubing. 

Replaced Broken washer load size selector switch - watch tutorial video it's easy 

Opened the control panel, removed broken parts & attached new parts. Was able to reuse the knobs themselves, as only the arms were broken off. Easy!
