To fix the oven temp running out of control, I replaced the thermostat. This was a fairly easy process. Turned the breaker off at the breaker box, then unplugged the stove. Unscrewed and took off the back panel. Removed the knob that controls the stove (just pull it off). Unscrewed 2 screws that held the thermostat in place. Oriented the new thermostat so it was the same direction as the old one, then removed the wire connections (just pull with a pair of needle nose pliers) from the old thermostat and attached them to the new thermostat one at a time. Removed the back right burner (just pulled it out) and lifted the top (where the burners are located) so you can pull the temperature sensor up through the hole that was under the burner. Then inserted the new temperature sensor through the hole and placed it where the old one was. Screw the new thermostat back in place, replace the burner I pulled out, drop the top back down and put the knob back on.
It was a similar method for replacing the switch for the large burner. Pull the knob off, unscrew the switch. Orient the new switch. Remove wire connections from old switch and move to new switch, one at a time. Screw new switch back into place, replace the knob and replace the back panel. Then plug the stove back in and flip the breaker switch back on.
