How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6009023 / WP3976574 Timer (3-Cycle)

Replaced timer. Video showed every step. Was easy!

I ordered the part, it came very fast. Watched the video, and it is working now 

The timer was easy to replace; I replaced each wire as I removed them instead of removing all wires at once, to keep track of which wires went where. The video on this website was perfect. Easy job. 

Replaced the timer. The project was completed in 10 minutes. 

The compatibility app said that it would not work on both choices available. But after a confirming call the part arrived in one day, I installed it in 5 min. and it worked perfectly. end of problem... Very Satisfied... 

You did have a video on this repair. the labor was relatively easy on this repair. the wiring was a bit different, but I kept track of each wire change over from the old part to the new part. the jumper wire on the new part was a bit different than the jumper wire on the old part. the part came fast. this is the first time our 20 year old dryer had any problems at all. an appliance company would have added another 100 to the cost of this repair. so it was a good economic decision to repair in this case. we are a low user of this appliance so we can make it last even longer this way. 

Replaced timer, easy fix. The hardest part was removing the wire harnesses from the old timer but the AppliancePartsPros video helped with the method (pry off carefully with screwdriver).

I got on appliance pros & looked up the timer for my make & model. After getting it (two days as promised) i removed the back, like the video shows, and installed it. Once i had it in (took more time to find the 1/4 socket & rachet) my dryer worked fine. It runs through a cycle & shuts off!! Thanks for the tech & video support Appliance Parts Pros!!
