Moved dryer away from the wall, (so I did not have to remove vent). Cleaned up lint and dirt with a vacuum before starting the job.
Standing on the side of the unit, I pulled the panel cover, removed old timer, moved wires one at a time from the old timer to the new, re-assembled. The hardest part was retrieving the two screws that I dropped behind the dryer, but a magnet taped to a string did the job nicely (lol).
