It was a very simple replacement especially given the appliancepartspros videos that are available, very easy and this job can be completed by anyone who can scooch their dryer back from the wall enough to access the plug and hatch
-Unplug dryer, remove control panel rear hatch
-Unplug/unscrew the back of the timer housing, remove knob from timer. Might need screwdriver to remove wires so helpful to leave the timer screwed in while you pry off the connectors first
-Mind orientation of old timer when you remove it and when you mount the new one
-Screw in new timer, re-attach wires based on color coding on timer and wires
-Re-attach knob and control panel rear hatch
