Dryer timer dial was bad

A malfunctioning timer was making our Maytag dryer hard to start.

I researched videos on the symptoms and the probable cause for our dryer problem. The timer was the likely culprit. I found the timer at AppliancePartsPros.com. There were two possible versions of the part, so I called to be sure I was ordering the correct timer. The very nice lady I spoke with answered my questions and helped me to determine which timer I needed. The timer arrived within 3 days and installation was a breeze.

Dryer timer sometimes didn't turn off the dry cycle

Ordered a new timer from Appliance Parts Pros after watching a video of the replacement process. Took all of 5 minutes to complete the repair. While the part is a fairly expensive one for the Maytag, it was nowhere near the cost of a new dryer! Works like a charm. Thanks.

Timer would not move at times on auto dry

Replaced module/ timer underneath the control knob , very easy works properly now . I saved calling a repair person and the wait for a part and a new appointment. all that labor and extra charge for the part.

Dryer was getting difficult to turn on

Our Maytag Atlantis dryer wasn’t starting all the time. I’d pull so hard on the knob I thought it was going to break off. It took a lot of wiggling of the knob to start. I started looking into it and discovered others had the same problem and it was the timer. So I purchased a timer after verifying it was the right one for our model and it arrived 3 days later. Installation was soooo simple. We watched the video which helped and it literally took like 3 minutes to change out. It’s like a brand new dryer now! Thank you AppliancePartsPros.com!
