Whirlpool Duet washer: My control unit blew because of a clogged drain. Had to open the bottom and cleared the drain ( 3 screws), then a f 01 code came and had to replace the ccu.
Looked on line and had Coastal appliance next door which wanted the an extra $50 for the core and there price higher. Got the part from appliancepartspros.com and saved over $90 in parts alone. Used the back board of old unit as there was a little problem with 2 plastic tabs.
