Albert I Indian Harbour Beach , FL December 19, 2014 Computer control board on washing machine went out I googled my problem and someone had posted how to access the ccu board. I ordered the part from you. Surprisingly it arrived in under two days. ( I was impressed with the service). After removing 3 screws from the back of the machine the top easily came off. Facing the front the ccu is at the upper right side. Making sure that the machine was unplugged, I pried the tab locking in the ccu and slid it to the right. It came right out. Marking all the wiring I removed them and reattached to the new unit. Slid the ccu back in place, plugged the machine back in and did a test wash. It worked perfectly. Jason F Fayetteville , NC December 03, 2015 The washing machine stopped working and provided the error code that indicated the electronic control unit was bad Using my owners manual and the reference material available at AppliancePartsPros.com I quickly identified the part i needed. The exploded view on this website helped me correctly install the part once it arrived. The control unit has many cable connection points some that look very similar. I used a clockwise pattern removing one connector from the old unit and placing it the same location on the new unit. I then tested the washer once before completely closing up the housing. Carl H Maple Valley , WA July 06, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer WFW8300SW02 F0 error code Replaced the part. The most challenging part of the repair was finding the model number on my washing machine. Once I found that, it was simple to track down the part I needed and replace the board. Of the 10 or so cables, one cable was not able to fit all of the way onto the board. It seems like the plastic fitting was a few millimeters off. It fit well enough to form a circuit. It seems possible that I will need to reset that cable down the road if an unbalanced load occurs.
