Removed agitator by pulling up on it. The coupler had failed and the rubber splined section was still in the agitator. I was able to cut the center of the agitator out with a sharp knife and then using the aluminum splined section off the shaft and a hammer tap the rubber splined coupler out of the agitator, by tapping back and forth on one side then the other. Once the new one arrived just lubricated with some silicone spray and placed over the shaft.I lined up the splines on the agitator and pushed it down, it went about half inch had to pound it on the rest of the way using a block of wood and large hammer. seated after 5 good blows. It worked great and part did come with directions.
