I noticed when we would run washer water would stay in tub.
Pump would hum but not pump water out.
Layed washer on its belly . Pump was at bottom of washer. Easy access .
Removed 3 screws,2 wires , & 2 hose clamps.
Didn't have to call Maytag Repair man.
