Repair went fine. The only problem was finding the location of the part. The videos showed it in the back or top of the appliance but it was in fact under the main top which was referenced in a forum. Again the problem was removal of the top. The model I have required the removal of the burned covers as expected but the top was not held on by clips but rather two screws in the front that required the removal of the knobs and nob front plate. After getting the top off it was just a matter of swapping the wires and screwing everything back together.
