It took me about 15 minutes to replace. I simply pulled out the stove and unplugged it to do the job. You can do this or simply shut off the breaker in your panel. It is better to access the back of the stove to do the job. 2 wires and 2 bolts and the job was done .The 2 bolts are in the oven itself and the wires are located behind the stove. Don't assume that everything can be done from inside the oven. It can be, but it is better to make sure that your new element contacts are clear in the back as well.
