The hardest part about replacing a burnt out bake element is finding the replacement part and AppliancePartsPros was a big help with that. The model tag on my oven was illegible as the oven is from 1959. I sent some photos to AppliancePartsPros and they identified the oven model and gave me a link to the correct replacement element and it was pretty much a piece of cake from there.
I originally thought that the two screws that came with the element were for the faceplate but later figured it out that they were for the element's electrical connectors (I actually found this out by posting a question on Amazon as it was the weekend). The previous element was connected with slider tabs but I cut those off, stripped off a little wire, wrapped it around the corresponding screw, tightened the screws, screwed in the faceplate and viola! Presto. I have a working oven!
Oh yeah, delivery was super fast. The element was delivered the next day with standard delivery service.
