Ge WB44X5099 Oven Heating Element OEM Part

With the help of Wendee and Karen, we finally figured out my model numbers and which parts where correct. I ordered the parts and all arrived the next day except for the Broiler element which arrived in 2 days. I installed the new Baking Element myself. Took longer to figure out which curcuit braker to turn off. In about 30 minutes I had a brand new Baking Element in my oven working perfectly. On the following day, I installed the Broiler Element. That took a bit longer as it sits in a metal sleeve and then needs to slide into place with the end pieces lining up with two holes so the ends enter there. First I installed it by itself and turned the curcuit brakers back on to make sure it would work. Once I confirmed it worked I had to install it with the metal sleeve and that took a little bit of time, but with a little patience it finally lined up. Then on Saturday, my husband and I installed all four burners on the stove-top. Two six inchers and two eight inchers. It was a two man job as we used the new ceramic blocks which my husband held in place after securing each wire to the new burners and clips needed to be slid on it as my husband was holding it. I now have a brand new oven and stove-top. My house was built in 1958 so most likely my model is a 1957 GE J502P1 for the oven and the stove top is a J5521N1 which has push buttons on the wall to operate it. The customer service I received was amazing. Top Notch. I might actually continue to fix up my kitchen keeping all the original appliances as they have so much charm and work beautifully now. My kitchen is avocado green but the appliances themselves are a beautiful stainless steel. I cannot say enough about the Customer Service at appliancepartspros.com. They were so helpful and always available by phone or email. I did watch the videos posted about installing the baking element. Unfortunately there is no video on how to install the burners or the broiler element, but if you systematically take the old ones apart, you can retrace your steps and reattach the new burners. The broiler was not hard, but lining it up was a little tricky. Take your time and you should have no problems. There were some videos on youtube for the burners but none were as old as mine which has four ends sticking out of it instead of two. The two armed burners just pull out and slide in. The four armed ones need to have the ceramic block in place. Good luck with your appliances!! Happy Cooking/Baking!

We were in need of a new bake element for our 50 years old GE oven. We had no idea what part number or model number will fit our oven. I was searching online to try to find a right part. On Monday afternoon, we received an email from Robin informed us the model number of our bake element. We ordered the part. The price was lower than other websites. Two days later, it showed up. Very fast shipping and handling! It was packed very well as well! My husband put it in the oven on the weekend. It fit perfectly, and only took him about 15 minutes or so to install it. We were very please with the purchase and really appreciate for all the helps and great customer service from AppliancePartsPros. We tried the new part by baking pizza that evening. It was great!

My parents' old oven needed a new bake element after the old one disintegrated. The oven's part number was no where to be found, but the helpful folks at this site found the correct replacement part. Shipping was quick and it arrived when promised, in time for me to fix the oven on the weekend. With a few simple tools and five minutes, the old element was out and the new one in. The oven is back in business. My Dad was sure they'd have to buy a new oven. Thanks for helping me maintain my reputation as a miracle worker!

This is a really old GE unit and AppliancePartsPros was able to find the correct replacement elements for the two ovens. Installation was straight forward using a 1/4" socket driver. The whole process for removing the two old elements and replacing the two new elements was around 15 minutes. The parts were correct and now both ovens function as they should. Thanks, guys!

When I contacted both GE and AppliancePartsPros, neither could even locate the oven by Model No. and Serial No. AppliancePartsPros was able to locate a replacement heating element, double checked the type of end fittings, and shipped it right away. The replacement element fits perfectly, installed easily, and the oven is working fine (total repair cost $35.) .
