-Turned off the breaker.
-Removed the door
( This oven is old enough and that is very simple. Flip 2 latches and pull off the door)
-Unscrewed the old element from the back of the oven.
-Clamped thermostats on the wires so they would not fall into the back of the oven
-Unscrewed the wires from the old heating element, and pulled it out of the oven
-Screwed the wires onto the new element.
-Bolted the element to the back of the oven
-Reinstalled the door
-Turned on the breaker
