John M Lexington , KY October 18, 2014 The blade did not rotate freely Replace the dome and blade. I previously replaced the coupling which I though was damaged by pureeing hot soup... maybe the problem was also in the dome and blade... damage to a bearing or something... anyhow, Kitchenaid blender up and running.
