Removed the bracket holding the element in place at the top then removed the screws holding the element to the back of the oven. The wires were long enough to pull them up far enough to work on the element. to replace placed the element up in the hole at the back (not screwed) replaced the bracket then to screws at back wall.
Our oven is way discontinued, just looked for an element that fit the configuration of the old.
Its a magic chef 1990 model.
