Took the whole dryer apart to discover the broken belt switch was placed in the worst place possible for maintenance. It is compared to pulling a car engine out to change spark plugs. I had to refer to a number of Youtube videos because none were specific to the particular model of my dryer. Taking the dryer apart was less challenging than putting things back together.
