After finding the model number for my dishwasher, I looked on line for the part and ordered it. The part arrived next day.
I was a little hesitant to tackle it myself, as I am a 67 year old female. However I decided I could do it and was all set until I found out that I needed a Torx screwdriver. This however was not going to stop me.
At a trip to my neighbor I was able to find bit for a drill that would let me remove one screw. The next stop was to my favorite hardware store where I showed them the screw and stated that I needed a screwdriver that would remove this kind of screw.
Ten screws later the back of the door was remover and the broken handle fell out. I removed the connectors, not as easy as I expected, it took a lot of force to get them off. Replacing the handle and replacing the door was the easy part.
Oops, I forgot to tell that I turned off the breaker to the dishwasher before removing the door. So now I was ready to turn it back on and voila, it worked.
