The ice maker in our Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer began making a very loud pop when it dumped the ice. Then a few weeks later we noticed broken pieces of plastic in the ice bucket. Upon investigation, we noticed the sensor on the bottom of the ice tray had broken off and there were pieces of the tray that had broken off. We entered the model number in the AppliancePartsPros.com search and the whole assembly was available. We received it two days after we ordered it.
