Eric G San Diego , CA January 26, 2015 Broken spring on ice dispenser door Thanks to the review for this part on this website, I was able to change out the old assembly with the new relatively easy. The trickiest part was sliding a small flat head screwdriver into the small hold under the front display on the right side to release the first clip. Once I got the first clip off, the rest of the clips came off pretty easy to expose the old unit. After that, it took 10 minutes to remove the two phillips head screws, disconnect the electrical connections, take the old unit out and install the new unit. It works great so far and no more water leaking from melting ice cubes in my ice tray! 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
