We have an older double oven, Waste King Universal - Valley Forge Edition - built in the 60's which is no longer manufactured but I love the way it cooks so I really did not want to buy a new one. When the element went out I was very upset because I knew I probably would not be able to replace the part. I decided to try anyway and got on the internet to search for the part. In the process I found appliance parts pro. I measured my element and researched every bake element they had available to find something that was close to what I had. Eureka! I found one very close and ordered it to see if it would work. It did!! I was very excited. Also watched the video online to see how to change it. Very simple. The only problem was that the original screws to attached the element were too small for the connector on the new element and had to be changed, as a result of that, I had to drill out the connectors on my oven to fit the larger screw. In the end, all was great!
Did try using the online help during my search, but they were not so helpful.
