Well, I reckon it was an adventure. With my 10-year old stack washer-dryer, I couldn't find any YouTube walkthroughs, so I approached it with a screwdriver and a will to work. I did at least have the sense to empty out a clear plastic sectional case & dropped a note in each section to label screws (e.g., "top," "control panel" etc.) Once I finally got to the heater assembly and replaced it, reassembly was a relative breeze. Took about three hours altogether.
