First I ordered a new Control Panel from Appliance Parts Pro dot com. Then on a dark & rainy day the parts were delivered... It only took about 1 and a half days for it to arrive! This is not my first rodeo when it comes to repairs. Changing out the parts was a fairly simple task if you take your time... I removed the screws (you needed a star type bit) holding the inner panel of the door (about 9-11 screws) and gently raised it up (there are wires to the front panel so be careful) to get to the screws holding the "Control Panel" on the door. Removing the screws with a nut driver you can now remove the control panel and unplug the only wire going to it. NOTE: Make sure you look at that flat ribbon wire and remember how it goes into the plug in the control box. Plug in the flat ribbon wire, from the new part, into the control box and then reverse the processes to assemble the door. Not a hard repair if you take your time. ONLY ONE WIRE TO DISCONECT AND CONECT!
