Michael C Madison , WI August 15, 2015 Some of the buttons on the touch pad were not working Tried resetting the microwave by unplugging, waiting, and plugging back in. Didn't work. Researched on line. Tried resetting the ribbon cable connecting the touch pad to the control board. Didn't work. Purchased replacement touch panel control pad. Arrived in two days. Easy to access Touch pad/control board assembly (remove two screws, the fan grille, and a single screw anchoring the assembly). Remove four wiring connectors from control board, four screws attach the control board to the touch pad. Install control board onto new touch pad with the four screws, reattach the four wiring connectors, and reassemble the microwave. Easy. Took less than 15 minutes to do repair, although I had experience taking the unit apart before the final repair...so perhaps up to 30 minutes for a complete novice.
