My 10+-year-old LG washer stopped draining and was displaying the “OE” error message. After emptying quite a but of garbage from the filter, I noticed that the small drain hose next to the filter was completely full and clogged with sand. It was like concrete and no way was I going to be able to clean it out. So, I read some online forums, and watched a bunch of you tube videos, and decided that the drain pump was probably the reason for the “OE” message. I ordered a new drain pump, a new hose, and a new door gasket clamp (I could see mine was rusty and for $5, I decided to get another one just in case the old one broke) The parts came In a day and 1/2 ~ amazing! - and I was able to do the repairs myself in a few hours. Saved a couple of hundred bucks, for sure. If you’re thinking about attempting this repair yourself, go for it! It was the first time I’d ever done it and it was not difficult at all.
