Diagnostic check showed no problems. Blend door sounded like it was moving correctly. Measured the ohms of the thermister and it showed +15. Error code would only show if open or shorted. Added a resistor in series to make it read correct till the part arrived. Delivery was fast and installation was a breeze due to videos/instructions available. Hardest part was finding how to perform the diagnostic check and the ohm values for the thermister.
Turn off the ice maker 30 minutes before pulling it or you may have water spilling out.
I keep thermometers in both sections now. I would have noticed the temp drift a lot sooner. I found out when ice cream was rock hard, then it built up ice in the bottom from the drain freezing.
