My freezer and fridge were blowing warm and all my food in there was garbage... Lights and fans all working. Looked up some YouTube videos on what it could be. Bad compressor least likely culprit even though it wasn't running. It wasn't doing that "click whirr" thing if it were trying to start. It just flat out wasn't running. So, check the overload and relay that attach right on the side of the compressor. I did, and I shook them. They jingled like loose change=BAD. Ordered new ones and installed them. 30 minutes later, I HAD COLD AIR! $60 in parts and 15 minutes of my time vs. $550 for a new fridge (or just as bad for a repairman)? SOLD!
