First we called Sears to fix the washer. The repairman said that the control board had to be replaced and that it would cost between 4 and 5 hundred dollars. He said that he could order the part and return 10 days later to do the repair. I decided to pay him the diagnostic fee and attempt to do the repair myself. I ordered the part from them and they sent the wrong part so I sent it back. Then we ordered the part from appliance parts pro and we received these right part and much quicker. After watching a short video on doing the repair I was able to complete the repair in about 30 minutes. Thanks to appliance parts pro we repaired the washer and saved at least 200 dollars.
