I needed to replace the light bulb in the oven, but forgot to turn off the breaker and unplug the oven (NEVER DO THIS)!!! There was a spark, and my control board was fried. The range top worked fine, so I knew if was the control board (if you no longer see the digital clock and none of the buttons are responsive, it's a pretty good indicator that it's toast).
Simple fix. Buy this part, turn off the breaker, unplug the appliance, remove the backing from the unit, remove 4 screws, swap out the terminals exactly as they are labeled. Fixed. 5 - 10 minutes tops. Might need a pair of needle nose pliers for any terminal connections that are tight.
