I ordered the new control panel and overlay. Unplugged the old one and plugged in the new one and all better. This happened before about 7 months ago and the repair man cost more than $500 and days of waiting for parts and having to be home for repair guy twice. He said these control panels are prone to breaking. This repair cost less than $200 and it only took two days for the parts to be delivered and installed. Only tools required were a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the part on, and a wrench to remove bolts holding the back panel. Very easy, very happy.
