William R Lester Prairie , MN June 30, 2014 Appliance: Model RSD30LP Dacor f1 error code Followed the dacor tech troubleshooting guide. In my case, while the F1 code was actively beeping, and with the control panel fascia tilted down for access, I removed the membrane ribbon conductor. F1 stopped. Reconnected, F1 re-started beeping. Repeated a couple times and it seemed membrane keypad was problem. Left it unplugged for a week, which proved no other error (like in the ERC) , so I purchased a membrane keypad and replaced. Hint. Put the entire fascia panel in the sun for an hour, so the adhesive softened on old keypad, then peeled it right up. Cold, the adhesive is really tough. Lined up new one, pressed into place, and re-assembled the fascia. Problem solved. Been working for a couple weeks. Appliance part pros excellent to deal with, by the way. 9 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
