William R Lester Prairie , MN June 30, 2014 Appliance: Model RSD30LP Dacor f1 error code Followed the dacor tech troubleshooting guide. In my case, while the F1 code was actively beeping, and with the control panel fascia tilted down for access, I removed the membrane ribbon conductor. F1 stopped. Reconnected, F1 re-started beeping. Repeated a couple times and it seemed membrane keypad was problem. Left it unplugged for a week, which proved no other error (like in the ERC) , so I purchased a membrane keypad and replaced. Hint. Put the entire fascia panel in the sun for an hour, so the adhesive softened on old keypad, then peeled it right up. Cold, the adhesive is really tough. Lined up new one, pressed into place, and re-assembled the fascia. Problem solved. Been working for a couple weeks. Appliance part pros excellent to deal with, by the way. George R La Jolla , CA August 09, 2014 Appliance: Model CPS-130W Dacor cps 130 wall oven: would continually turn itself off after selecting any cooking mode I web searched this symptom, found many sites that were helpful, but yours was the best. And the exact problem was answered by one of your moderators as being a faulty Oven Control Board, ERC. So I took mine out, checked the part #, your site cross referenced to old part to the new number. I ordered and got it, put it in (very easy if you are careful with the 3 electrical plugs to the board, they're sticky to get off), and now it works as new. This oven is a 1993 wall oven that I put in, 21 years old and this is the first problem. Thanks for the great site for DIY repairs Read More... 6 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
David W The Woodlands , TX May 09, 2015 Appliance: Model DACOR RSD30 Convection fan ran continously door lock cycled continously & none of the oven controls worked I found the replacement the oven control board at AppliancePartsPros.com and used the live chat feature of the website. Robin was her very helpful in confirming the correct part for my model oven and also in processing my order. It was late Monday afternoon when I ordered the part and it still shipped the same day and arrived on Wednesday with standard shipping. Given AppliancePartsPros return policy, I was not hesitant to order the part and try the repair myself rather than calling for service. This fixed the problem and the oven is back in service. I'd certainly recommend AppliancePartsPros to anyone wanting to do their own repairs. Thomas D Eastford , CT December 05, 2015 Appliance: Model DACOR RSD30 Dual fuel range f1 error code and touchpad failure Researched problem online to try to diagnose, learned which part(s) were probably involved. Got estimates for professional repair in the $700 range, and though appliance is 17 years old, still not particularly happy with the need to replace expensive electronics in an appliance whose construction is otherwise suited for decades of service. Elected to attempt replacement of parts, touchpad and oven control board, myself. Managed to disassemble range front to gain access to parts, found your online supply company. Quickly found matching parts, ordered, received parts in two days, and re-assembled front of range with new parts. Success, in time for holiday baking! Aside from the uncertainties of my diagnosis and reluctance to invest in repairing an older unit, I am extremely happy with my experience with Appliance Parts Pros. and the ease with which I was able to obtain the required parts, leaving me only a week without my oven.
