The entire process was simple. I removed the old unit by removing the screw on the right side of ice maker, depressed the tab at the top center of lce Maker and pulled it out. Then I removed the side panel for wiring and disconnected one leading to ice maker. Received new icemaker and installed it within twenty minutes. You will not that the screw you removed is not included with the new unit for good reason. To make the connection with the coil that freezes the ice, the unit opens length wise and closes like a jaw around the coil. The most difficult part was squeezing the front together to align the screw hole and latch on the left side. If you can get the latch to snap the top and bottom together, the screw hole will align perfectly. Attach wiring and panel, push reset button on the right side of ice maker and you are done. Make sure to turn the water on.
