My GE dishwasher (GDT605PMM0ES) had started going in and out of service but if I unplugged it and plugged it back in it would work a few more times. Then one day that old trick didn't work anymore. Looked at what might be the issue on the internet and most signs pointed to the configured service machine control board or the configured Ui board. I ordered both, not really which was bad, but started with the Ui board first because the service machine control board showed it was receiving power. I was able to get the Ui board switched out with some helpful videos at AppliancePartsPros.com and make the repair very easily. The UI board was indeed the culprit and my GE dishwasher is back in business, plus it was nice to know that I could return the unused service machine control board.
