Arthur H Kingwood , TX June 26, 2023 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher GDT605PMM0ES Dead dishwasher My GE dishwasher (GDT605PMM0ES) had started going in and out of service but if I unplugged it and plugged it back in it would work a few more times. Then one day that old trick didn't work anymore. Looked at what might be the issue on the internet and most signs pointed to the configured service machine control board or the configured Ui board. I ordered both, not really which was bad, but started with the Ui board first because the service machine control board showed it was receiving power. I was able to get the Ui board switched out with some helpful videos at AppliancePartsPros.com and make the repair very easily. The UI board was indeed the culprit and my GE dishwasher is back in business, plus it was nice to know that I could return the unused service machine control board. Ordered parts from AppliancePartsPros.com User interface panel on the door, main control board, and door wiring harness. Parts arrived quicker than expected and were a direct replacement. I saw warping at the top of door from all the steam which I assume ended up damaging the UI. After replacing the UI my dishwasher works again.
