5/8 nut driver,7/8 nut driver, Philips screwdriver, flat blade screwdriver, needle nose pliers. I watched several AppliancePartsPros. videos of timer replacements. Start to finish 7 minutes to complete the job. Unscrewed back panel of the control module. On the front dial pulled the plastic cap off, used needle nose pliers and removed clip from the shaft. Pulled all items of the shaft placed in order of removal. Unscrewed the two screw with nut driver. On the back, removed the lid control block, removed timer, unplug wiring block and ground wire. New timer plugged wire block, attached ground wire, and screwed time back into position, reattached lid control block. Place all item back on the shaft in order of removal, reattach clip on the shaft. Snap on the plastic cap. Done.. Works like a new one...
