The tell/tell sign was buttons for pots, pans, heat, dryer all went on but the START & STOP did not light up. Tried to buy one locally but they would not accept return if it did not fix the problem. ApplianceParts Pro would and theirs was less expensive even with shipping. It took me 15 minutes to take off old and put on new and the dishwasher works like a charm.
