Debert T Crownsville , MD September 12, 2015 Display lights but will not start This is the second time in five year I've had to replace this part. Both times it began with the dryer "chirping " all the time causing us to unplug the dryer between uses. Eventually, the display freezes on pause and will not run. Replacing is quite easy, a few screws in the back and it lifts off attached now only by a ribbon cable. After gently removing the ribbon cable replace the control panel by performing your removal actions in reverse. I did notice the cost of this replacement part has rose about 40 % since I last bought one five years ago. This is a easy repair. 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
