Easy enough for a child. This white panel also fits the models that did have a chrome panel, and is a third of the cost. The repair is simple, and was made simpler because I could open the door against the dryer which was next to the washer. If nothing is there, try putting a crate or something there to work against. There are notches to line up the different pieces correctly, so watch for those. The first two layers of the clear plastic screen and the black ring snap into place against the outer panel. Then the glass and inner gray ring are more easily held if there is something behind the door to push against, so the little white clips don't pop off the door while you put in the screws. I've done a lot of appliance repairs, and they don't get any easier than this.
