Kenneth V Lafayette , LA May 17, 2015 The door hinge on the right broke at the rivet I removed the oven door and removed the right hinge assembly. I followed the directions and started to install the two screws that came with the new hinge. I then realized that the mounting bracket for the lower screw had not been threaded. I happened to have a screw tapping set with the right size tap. I put the hinge in the vice and threaded the lower bracket where the screw hole was located. Once I did that, I was able to put the screws in place and replace the oven door. The new hinge works great. I suggest you have quality control check to see that the hole is already threaded before shipping. The turn around time was fast. I had my new hinge three days after ordering it. 3 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
