William K Gettysburg , PA August 22, 2014 My old door latch was not making a consistent connection the diswaher wouldd stop mid cycle and you had to jiggle it to get it to finish I turned off the power then removed the six or so screws from the back of the top panel. I marked the two front wires on the latch with tape so I would not get them confused. I removed the two screws holding the latch on--these take a six pointed star bit on the screw driver--the bit is in most screw driver sets with interchangeable heads. I then connected the wires to the new latach and put everything back together. The whole process took between ten and fifteen minutes. 47 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
